PressNomics is, hands down, one of my favorite WordPress conferences. Since 2012, this conference has brought together the who’s who of the business side of WordPress and it’s fantastic. Attending means you’ll rub shoulders with many amazing WP agency, product owners/creators, and corporate WP key players. Of course, you’ll have a few freelancers that can’t miss the opporunity to be around these WP legends.
I attended the hallway track and worked during seshes. In fact, I had several meetings. Tessa Kriesel and I attended a WCUS org meeting together and Kathy Zant and I attended a WCPHX 2020 meeting. 🙃
PressNomics releases you for lunch so you have the opportunity to break bread together with other like-minded companies or individuals. The hope is that magic is created and future business ventures are conceived.
The first and last night included a social for all attendees with the middle night being open for impromptu happenings. I had so many meaningful converastions with the attendees. Some were professional some were personal. The personal conversations hit hard but good. In particular I shared serendipudous moments with Matt Cromwell, Thomas P Levy, and Devin Walker. My heart was full!
Post Script:
PN6 was the last iteration as the pandemic hit the following year and Pagely was sold to GoDaddy in November of 2021. Not sure PressNomics will ever be a thing again but it will forever be remembered.
